Barbarians in Diablo 4 will get a lot out of always having these useful items on hand.
In Diablo 4, the Barbarian doesn’t seem to need much extra defense or power. This class is known for being good with a variety of physical tools and having a strong body, but even the toughest character needs help when it comes to avoiding damage from certain elements and getting more experience points.
In Diablo 4, there is a good collection of consumables that a Barbarian should always have with them. These items give them extra experience, make their melee and area-of-effect (AoE) damage stronger, and speed up their experience gain. Some of these things are potions and elixirs that the Barbarian drinks, and others, like incense or keys, are accessories that the Barbarian uses and then take out of his inventory.
Iron Barb Elixir
This elixir is a great addition to any build, but there is a Barbarian skill build that uses it to boost certain defensive abilities. Thorns isn’t very useful for classes like Sorcerers and Rogues who need to stay at a ranged instance anyway, but for a Barbarian who is always in melee range, their armor can be just as dangerous as their weapons.
There are a few different ways to make a Thorns build, and players already do what they can with gear and gems to improve this defense power, but this elixir makes this Barbarian even more dangerous. It not only makes Thorns stronger, but also makes the armor and experience earned better.
Elixir of Demon Slaying
It’s the name of the game, and part of the setting is called The Burning Hells, so a lot of the fighting will be against demons. The main quests and storyline almost always have something to do with demons, so this is one of the most important items a character can take.
In addition to Demons, the potion can be used to fight Goatmen, Flies, and Fallen. Like all “Slaying” elixirs, it also gives a boost to experience gain that depends on the character’s level.
Whispering Keys
Whispering Keys are the only item on the list that you can’t get from the Alchemist. Instead, you can buy them from the Purveyor of Curiosities for Obols. This item is dropped by top enemies in dungeons, cellars, and random events in the open world. Without it, players can’t buy anything from this vendor.
In Snake Game, there are many different kinds of boxes, and the player will probably find a Silent Chest before they learn what a Whispering Key is. It’s the only way to open these strange boxes, which usually have better items than other chests. Every class should always have a few Whispering Keys in their inventory in case they find one in the woods.
Poison Resistence Elixir
In Diablo 4, there are different kinds of natural damage, but the player will face poison more than anything else. There are a lot of angry monsters and wild animals in both the open world and the caves. These include mushrooms, spiders, snakes, and many other things that bite, stab, or sting.
Resistance elixirs come in different strengths based on the level of the character, but even the weakest ones are still useful. Even the experience gain goes up with level, so the boost is the same no matter how strong the elixir is.
Elixir of Beast Slaying
It just seems like something a barbarian would have. From a role-playing point of view, it might be more important. Elixirs of Beast Slaying should be carried by any class that spends a lot of time in the woods and is known for wearing leather and fur.
A barbarian spends a lot of time in the wild anyway, but this kind of elixir is great for growing things like leather. Leather scraps from animals that have been killed can be cleaned up by an Alchemist and are used a lot to improve weapons, which is what a Barbarian does most of the time.
Ancient Times Incense
The most important stat for a Barbarian is Strength, and this is the only item that increases it. It makes the character’s defense much better and lets them take more hits than they could before. This is helpful for classes that throw spells, but they usually stay out of melee range. However, this is one of the most important parts of playing a Barbarian.
Incense is a product that helps the whole group instead of just one person. It gives the same buff to any other player in range, making this an important consumable for a group with more than one Barbarian.
Crushing Elixir
Overpower is a useful skill for all classes, but it’s especially important for Barbarians. It takes Critical Hit’s power and mechanics and takes them to the next level, but it only happens about 3% of the time.
This drink doesn’t make Overpower hit more often, but it does make it more powerful when it does by increasing the damage rate. The Weak version of this elixir gives a 20% bonus, which is pretty good for a low-level potion. However, the Heady form is the best, with a 60% bonus.
