Escape From Tarkov
One of the oldest and most well-known Extraction Shooters on the market is Escape From Tarkov. Battlestate Games made EFT, which has a cult following of hundreds of thousands of players who are deeply interested in the world of Tarkov. Its best features are its huge amount of detail, its multiplayer options, its tactical gunplay, and its tough learning curve.
Without a friend or Sherpa to help you learn how to play, the game doesn’t do much to hold your hand. You will die a lot in this game. The challenge and learning curve make the loot you get out of it taste even better, though.
Hunt: Showdown
If you’ve ever had the strangest desire to play as a bounty hunter paid to get rid of supernatural monsters in the Louisiana swamps, Hunt: Showdown gives you that chance and more. Both PvP and PvE make the game very competitive, and you’ll be thrown into a dangerous world with lots of different enemies and threats to deal with.
Up to five teams of two can play, and the goal is to get rid of a certain number of monsters. This means that PvP will definitely be exciting. If you get rid of a monster, there will be a bounty on your head until you extract if there are any other hunts left in the match. This game, like Tarkov, is all about high risk and high gain.
Deep Rock Galactic
Deep Rock Galactic is a great space-themed Extraction Shooter that can be played with other people, even though it is only a PvE game. As a driven dwarven miner, you can play by yourself or with a group of friends. You’ll all work together to finish the main tasks you’ve been given, any side missions you choose, and to mine different resources.
You can play as the Gunner, the Scout, or another class. The more you play, the more guns and tools you’ll get. Most of the things you mine, like Bismor or Croppa, can be used to get rare cosmetics and upgrades that make your class better.
Marauders
A sci-fi tactical Extraction Shooter called Maruaders is based on intense PvP. As a space pirate, you’ll either be raiding other people or they’ll be raiding you. It doesn’t matter if you do it alone or with a group of up to three other people.
In this dark and dangerous steampunk world, you’ve taken your spaceship and run away to the stars to start a new life on the “new and dangerous galactic frontier.” You’ll use the treasure you find as you play to improve your spaceship, gear, and guns. One trait that is helpful is that EXP and some gear lasts forever.
Dark And Darker
People shouldn’t get angry just yet; Dark and Darker is actually a shooter, even though it looks like an old-school RPG. You can choose from a few different classes, so you can cast magic, shoot arrows, or use your favorite melee weapons to join a PvPvE match that’s based on Battle Royale.
You can play by yourself or with a few other people. As Breakout Game goes on, a harmful zone will push you and other players to a certain spot on the map. In the end, you’ll have to either get some loot and leave early or risk everything by going down to the next, more dangerous floor below you.
The Cycle: Frontier
In The Cycle: Frontier, you play as a prospector who is dropped onto a planet that no one lives on and is full of dangerous animals, radioactive storms, and other dangers in order to look for loot and lost riches from settlements that have been abandoned. But there are other prospectors who want that loot too, and they’re ready to fight for it.
When you drop in, you’ll be given some basic weapons and gear to give you a fighting chance against other people and creatures. As you get more loot and better guns and gear, it can help to specialize your loadout if you want to avoid PvP and only do PvE content, or the other way around.
Zero Sievert – Extraction Shooters
Zero Sievert is a post-apocalyptic, non-competitive, top-down, 2D Extraction Shooter game that was inspired by Tarkov. It may be the most unique game on this list. However, don’t let the way this game looks make you less careful; you might be shocked by how deep and hard it is.
Zero Sievert makes the maps you drop into in a way that isn’t exactly the same every time. This is done to keep you on your toes. You’ll have to get used to keeping your character, just like Tarkov did. Keep an eye on your stamina levels, make sure you treat wounds and accidents with the right tools and medicines, and be careful in areas with a lot of radiation.
